PHOTOJINJU

사진진주는 문화 예술의 고장 진주에서 열리는 비전업(비제도권,아마추어)사진가들이 만들어 가고 있는 사진축제입니다. 지역을 기반으로 하는 사진가들이 자발적, 자율적으로 기획하고 운영하는 ‘사진문화운동’으로 자신의 삶 속에서 사진예술을 실천하는 ‘생활예술운동’의 움직임입니다. 2017년 이후 매년 11월에 개최되고 지역을 넘어 전국적이고 세계적인 사진축제로 도약하고 있습니다. 사진진주를 통해 새로운 문화 예술적 가치를 공유하는 행사가 되길 기대합니다.

​Photo Jinju is a photo festival made by non-professional (non-regular, amateur) photographers held in Jinju, the city of culture and art. It is a movement of the ‘Life Art Movement’ in which photographers based in the region voluntarily and autonomously plan and operate the ‘Photo Culture Movement’ to practice the art of photography in their lives. It has been held every November since 2017 and is leaping forward as a national and global photo festival beyond the region. We hope that it will be an event to share new cultural and artistic values through Photo Jinju.
